The Mission of the Upper Merion Special education Parent Resource and INterest Group is to provide resources and  support to all children with special needs in our community.


This will be accomplished by the following goals:


  • Provide a network of support, information and training. 
  • Encourage inclusion through an atmosphere of open communication, understanding and mutual respect among all children, parents, educators, professionals and the community at large.
  • Collaborate with the parent teacher groups, school councils, school boards and other school organizations towards the betterment of education in Upper Merion.
  • To provide opportunities to increase awareness within our community.
  • To strive to continually improve the quality of our special education programs.
  • To promote:  Upper Merion Special education Parent Resource and INterest Group in the school district and community of Upper Merion.
